In my last post, Create a Dialogue, I wrote about reaching out to establish more meaningful communication with other photographers and artists. Since then I have created several dialogues with other photographers about not only their work, but their experiences with social media and how they see themselves and their work. It has been very rewarding, and I plan to reach out to other photographers.
In addition, I have been setting up print exchanges with these photographers. I have always felt prints are more powerful, and permanent, than digital images. I always chose to, when I have the option, to but a photographer’s photo book and look at it in person instead of scrolling through their Flickr. There is something to be said about holding a photographer’s image in your hand.
If you are interested in joining in on a print exchange, then comment below or send me an email.
